With so many genres of acting today, it's great to see someone as versatile as Claude Laniado. Although he also is a professional psychiatrist, a keyboardist, and the 1999's All Northeast Kung Fu Heavyweight Champion (2nd place), he has made an impressive impact on the world of acting as well. Claude has appeared in the motion pictures Tracks, with John Heard and Ice-T, as a deranged prisoner(Arthur), and in Fugazi as a mob boss (Balintino), along with various short films in which he plays an alcoholic fetish film director in Dimestar (American Film Institute), a mime in Wake Up (Cannes and Costa Rican Film Festivals), an old pianist in Ezon. He also appeared in many theater productions including The Sopranos Last Spaghetti Dinner where he played Junior. Other theater credits include the role of Caliban in The Tempest and the role of Dr. Caius in Merry Wives of Windsor. He will also be playing Richard and assisting directing Shakespeare's Richard III, and playing Itchibom in the motion picture “The Bocce Balls” along side with Jason Alexander, Vinny Pastore, Vinny Vella, Tony Devon, and Smoking Joe Frazier. Look out for him as a regular in the role of Dr.Claude in a new television show called “The Broadway Party”, a musical comedy variety revue based in Manhattan.
