This 16 year old started singing at blues and jazz clubs in various locations around Center City, Philadelphia at the age of 13. He was spotted by Bobby Dance at a venue and had him open up for Lil Bow Wow the next day. A week later, he opened for Avant. The Mayor of Philadelphia then asked him to sing for the city at the opening of Love Park on the 4th of July. He was then brought to New York to work with Carlos McKinney of Sugar Hill Records before they were burnt down. Donte was then introduced to Kenny Whitehead (whos father was from McFadden & Whitehead from Aint No Stopping Us Now fame) who has worked with Marquis Houston . His age, his appearance, and his vocal range combine into a poisonous package that will make girls panic and every A&R hungry. Currently working on an album with the production of Kenny along with T-Rex from the Beat Miserz, Donte is bound to dominate the charts of 2004.
