| This name may not sound familiar, but he is known to DJs and clubhoppers worldwide. Tracks like the hypnotic 'Pop Kulture', 'Steal Away' and ‘Shifter', has made him a major component in the music industry. Dozia startedto DJ in various locations through out Philly including his first residency at the Black Banana to parties at Silk City, Shampoo, to his current reign at Tribecca and played at the Winter Music Conference 4 years in a row. He has played and recorded with the likes with the likes of King Britt, Josh Winks, and Digable Planets. Now, outside of Philly, he is a regular in Atlanta, Florida, New York and Germany. His own imprint “Nou Lion Recordings” debuted the Aura EP with King Britt. He also remixed Danny Tenaglia's "Elements" for the Twisted Secrets compilation and completed a remix of David Alvarado's "Klugh" to be released on Ovum Recordings. Dozia also reports for Billboard magazine's club chart. Dozia has big plans in 2004 so keep one ear to the street and one by your speaker. |
