Known by various titles throughout the years, K. Banger is a standout for his dynamic presence in the local Perth Amboy, New Jersey HipHop community. He has opened up for hot artists such as George LaMond, Nice & Smooth, Jaz O, J Live and even tap sensation Savion Glover. K. Banger has been charting CMJ magazine for spins on 90.3 The Core FM & 88.7 WRSU FM. His new single "Motivation" has been spun by DJ 279 (top Hiphop DJ in London), 91.9 FM in Long Island (The Wondertwinz radio show, now heard on satellite XM radio), WPNT in the Bronx, 92.1 FM the Beat in Virginia (commercial radio where K. was voted #1 online for 4 weeks in a row, making him one of the top artists for June 2002), and Live365.com
In 1996, K. Banger (known as Still at the time) made his debut album appearance with Miilkbone on a song called "Murder Verbs" (Capitol Records). He also worked with Subverse Music recording artists Scienz of Life in 1999 to record "Ghettoz tah Galaxies" while performing as the group's percussionist for many of their shows. He currently on Miilkbone's new album and single "A Few Good Men" (XCaliber Entertainment/WEA) with Hiphop veteran Tame One and Motown's Chop Diesel. K. made an appearance in the overseas hiphop documentary "Word" by Tony Films. He currently is fresh of the Warped Tour. K. Banger's self released album, "Stillborn Lives", on The Dirt Department, Inc. label, is now being sold and widely received in the underground circuit. |
