MCB (Michael Barnett) has been deejaying since 1993 in North Jersey. In the winter of 2000 MCB launched WaxStreet Records, an online DJ record store catering to the sounds of deep house and trance. His deep, emotional trance sets have graced many US cities as well as London. Inspired by the likes of Taylor, BT, and John Digweed, he tries to establish himself as “The Master of the Gray Area” (limbo between house and trance).
MCB has performed with world-renown artist such as Chris Fortier, Jimmy Van M, Moda, Dave Seamon, Mr. C, DB, Josh Winx, and many others. He has appeared in such places as The Spitfire Tour, Breath Tour, Expo (NYC), Burning Man (Mexico), Tunnel (NYC), Fluid (Philly), Evolutions (Philly), Masquerade (Atlanta), Cobalt (Atlanta), Astro (S Carolina), Karma (Chicago), The End (London), Trance Domain (Orlando), and many many more. He is currently working on a few remix projects for various underground artists and preparing a release of his own sound. |
