Having begun his media career as an intern at Roc-A-Fella Records, Zaire has used his knowledge to land jobs as an independent promoter for artist such as Mic Geronimo, Royal Flush, Smooth Da Huslter, SWV, and Deborah Cox. He then started his own record company, NorthStar Records, where he released an EP by a local Brooklyn Artist, which garnished local notoriety. In 1999, he started Diamond Communications and Multimedia Technologies, a promotion and marketing company where he created multiple marketing campaigns for independent artists and labels.
Zaire attended the Phillipa Schuyler School for the Gifted and Talented to develop his acting abilities and landed multiple roles in theatrical performances. After completing two independent films, he landed a brief stint with “As the World Turns”. While learning to develop his craft in front of the camera, he believed he could become a better actor if he could relate better to the camera and director. While behind the camera, Zaire wrote, directed, and produced two independent films. Then he began shooting music video including Bars and Hooks, Remy Martin, Iconz, and Mad Cobra. Currently he is working on directing videos for Black Moon, Chinky, and V12. Other projects that he is working on are a Bars and Hooks Documentary, commercial specs for V.S.O.P. Liquor, and for Tupac’s clothing line, Machiavelli. Zaire’s versatility has made him a marketable entity that the entertainment world is sure to embrace. |
