WHO?MAG Multimedia and MIGTIGHT Productions brings you a brand new way to "GET RECOGNIZED". We are starting a new kind of competition that will give you all the tools you need to ‘GET RECOGNIZED". The winner of this competition will get their song airplay, mixtape placement, movie soundtrack placement, interviews, artist website, free 30 mins law consultation, digitizing of song for download, winning info in magazine, song placed in WHO?MAG DVD Magazine Vol. #4, free clothing, and much more.
Here’s the deal WHO?MAG DVD Magazine and MIGTIGHT Productions have teamed up to help upcoming unsigned artist to break into the industry through a different avenue. Grammy nominated/multi-platinum producer Mr. Mig has submitted a track for free download on www.whomag.net/contest. Any artist can download this track at no cost. The artist is to record their vocals (either singing or rapping) on the track on their own and submit it to us along with a short bio, a pic, and a $20 entrance fee. The best entry (decided by our panel of professional judges) will win the grand prize and be chosen to "GET RECOGNIZED". Plus the first 50 entries we receive will receive a FREE WHO?MAG DVD Vol. #1 plus a free CD from RUMM Distribution (while supplies lasts). All submissions must adhere to the rules and regulations of the contest located on the website. Timeframe for our 1st contest is February 1st, 2006 through April 30th, 2006, being that all mail postmarked after April 30th 2006 will not qualify for this competition.
What differentiates our competition from others is our low entrance fee and the fact that we are actually getting you all the sources you need to get your material "recognized". We are searching for a hit record and we believe that a huge majority of the talent worldwide isn’t getting the recognition it deserves. Therefore, we are relying on our judges consisting of a huge array of music professionals ranging from press, radio, producers, artists, lawyers, and label execs from across the US to pick the winner. The winner will be judged on the categories of originality, flow, lyrics, and creativity.
